Sarasas Ektra School celebrated World Environment Day with a variety of engaging activities
On 5th June 2026, Sarasas Ektra School celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with engaging activities across all levels to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices.
Our NC – KG.3 students participated in the Little Eco Citizen Activity, where they created imaginative items from recyclable materials and took part in environmental good deeds such as waste sorting, caring for plants, and conserving resources.
Meanwhile, Y.4 – 12 students joined environmental campaign presentations led by Student Council candidates, who shared ideas and initiatives to encourage eco-friendly practices within the school community. The celebration also featured performances, competitions, and award presentations recognising students’ creativity and commitment to environmental conservation.
Through these activities, students learned that small actions can create a positive impact and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
