Yr. 6 Scout Camp 2017

             Our Primary Department organised Y.6 Scout Camp on October 5th -7th, 2017 at Sarasas Affiliated Schools’ Scout Camp. The purpose of this activity was to enable the boy and girl sea scouts to practice and develop various useful skills. There were interesting activities conducted throughout this 3 days/ 2 nights camp as detailed below.       

             On October 5th, there was an opening ceremony, trekking activities, and recreational activities during the day. Later at night there was a campfire activity with the performance representing the Zulu tribe and some entertaining performances by Thai and foreign teachers. The boy scouts and girl guides had great fun. Moreover, there were the Scout English Drama Shows from Yr. 6A and Yr. 6B.

             On October 6th, the boy scouts and girl guides had an opportunity to learn and participate in many challenging activities such as the adventure bases, which included tree top walking, sloped wall climbing, wooden seesaw etc. In addition, they had tests on the special subjects such as boat rowing subject and camper subject which included organising a tent, rice cooking and fishing. At night, there were some fun campfire activities and the Scout English Drama Shows from Yr. 6C, Yr.6D, and Yr.6E.

             On October 7th, there was a group bonding activity for the boy scouts and girl guides at Sarasas Affiliated Schools’ Scout Camp, and an exercise activity in the morning. Then everyone went back to Sarasas Ekra School, Primary Department, to join the closing and award-giving ceremony.
