The theme of Infant Breakthrough Camp this year was “Kids on Wheels”. Students learnt about transportation by sea, land and air in both Thai and English. Students learnt vocabulary words about itinerary, car, airplane and boat. This year concentrated on integrating Science and Mathematics subjects together. Each week there was a special activity learning base to make it fun for students. There were many bases such as:
Car Racing Base: It was a base for car racing. Students had fun with car racing and learnt about the force of speed and how a car runs.
Airplane Flying Base: Students had fun folding a paper airplane. Students learnt about the speed of wind integrating Science content and students also learnt about how an airplane flies.
Wheels Art Base: Students learnt art using recycled products to make creative works such as airplanes, cars and trains from their imagination and art skills.
Sound Guessing Base: Students practiced concentration in listening and answering questions by guessing the sound they heard. Students also had to use their imagination by making actions to the sound they heard.
Om the last day of the camp, the Infant Department set up a Mini Motor Show Expo for students to show their work about cars, airplanes and boats giving KG.1-3 students the chance to see and exchange knowledge. Students had fun and enjoyed the final day of “Kids on Wheels” Camp and we look forward to seeing you gain in Infant Breakthrough Camp next year.
