Mother's DayReceived a Thank You award :-
Mr. Pisut Yongkamol, the Director of Sarasas Ektra School, received a Thank You award from H.E.Linglingay F. Lacanlale, the Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand for the school's donation to the Typhoon Ondoy victims. The award was presented at the Philippine Embassy on 24th August 2010.

Mother's DayScience Week :- 19th - 20th August 2010 – The Secondary Department of Sarasas Ektra School arranged the Science Week Activities.

Mother's DayMother's Day :- 10th August 2010 – The Primary 11th August 2010 The Secondary and Infant Department of Sarasas Ektra School arranged the Mother's Day Activity 2010.

MarkOpen House Sathu 19 :- 28th - 30th July 2010 – NC and 2nd - 6th August 2010 – KG.1-KG.3 of Sarasas Ektra School Infant Campus (Sathu 19) arranged the Open House Activities.

National ScoutBuddhist Lent Activity :- On the occasion of Buddhist Lent, the school will arrange for all items (candles, personal items, medicines, etc.) donated by Sarasas Ektra teachers and students to be offered to the monks at Thongbon Temple, Bangpongpang, Yanawa. There will also be representatives taking the Buddhist Lent Candle for circumambulation of the Ubosot on July the 20th. Students’ Achievements Congratulations to the Batch 11 Grade 12 students who have been admitted to universities in the Academic Year 2010.

National Scout5th High School Debate League :- The Sarasas Ektra School was host to the first competition of the 5th High School Debate League on July 10th 2010. There were 15 schools participating, among them were 8 leading schools in Bangkok, such as Triam Udom Suksa School, Assumption Bangrak School and Satit Pratumwan School. International rules and regulations were used in the competition.

National ScoutNational Scout Day :- Ektra’s Scouts recognize that the importance of Scout and Guide activities is in developing the quality of the nation’s youth and emotionally so that they will be good citizens.

Scout Camp G.5Feats Day & Wai Kru Day 2010 :- 24th June 2010 – The Primary and Secondary Department of Sarasas Ektra School arranged the Feast Day and Teacher’s Day activities in which KG students showed their gratitude and respect to teachers.

Scout Camp G.5Thai Youths Love Thailand :- 15th June 2010 - Student leaders and foreign teachers from Sarasas Ektra School met UN Thailand officers to submit a document introducing the students’ campaign “Thai Youths Love Thailand” to the United Nations. The student leaders presented the campaign, which aims at restoring Thailand’s good image abroad, and spoke of their own feelings, as well as those of their friends and foreign teachers towards the unrest which damaged the country’s image.  The students' YouTube video.

Scout Camp G.5Thailand world schools debating championship :-
12th - 15th June 2010 - Representative students from the Debating Club of Sarasas Ektra School participated in the Thailand World Schools Debating Championship at Patumwan Demonstration School.

Scout Camp G.5Intensive training :- 9th June 2010 - Repesentatives from Sarasas Ektra School’s Debating Club received intensive training from Mr Marbroug Azeez, a member of Qatar’s champion team at the World Schools Debating Championships.  Mr Azeez is helping them to prepare for the Thailand World Schools Debating Championships (TWSDC) on 12-14 June 2010. Two teams of students from Sarasas Ektra School will participate in this contest. 

Scout Camp G.5We love Thailand, and This We do for the King :-
10th-11th June 2010 – Sarasas Ektra School arranged the activity “We love Thailand, and This We Do For the King”. Students gave food to the monks from Wat Phai Ngen and sang  the national anthem and the song “Long Live the King”. They also set up a display board, “This We Do For the King” by writing what they wished to do for the King on small pieces of paper in different colors. Each piece of paper was pinned on the board and must not be on top of other pieces, reflecting the basic concepts of Democracy that everyone is granted the same right and duty. We possess the same amount of space and we are standing on the same soil. Therefore, we need to acknowledge the rights of other people. Different colors refer to the difference between people in our society, and the messages represent different thoughts and opinions.

10th June 2010 – The Kindergarten Department of Sarasas Ektra School arranged the Feast Day and Teacher’s Day activities in which KG students showed their gratitude and respect to teachers.

Scout Camp G.5Media Tour :- 10th June 2010 – Representative students from Sarasas Ektra School visited Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS) to observe its working procedures and on-air studios. The students learned tips and techniques for reporters from Mr.Lanboon Wuttakul, a professional reporter for Thai PBS, and also got an opportunity to watch a live broadcast of the program “People’s Channel” in its studio.

Scout Camp G.5Media Symptoms and New Value Exhibition :-
8th June 2010 - Secondary students from Sarasas Ektra School visited the “Media Symptoms and New Value Exhibition” at the Department of Computer Graphics/Multimedia, Building 9, Bangkok University (Kluaynamthai Campus). The students were guided by by Sarasas Ektra ex-students (7th generation) who described concepts, background and build-up procedures of the works on exhibition.

Scout Camp G.5Youth Power :- During a meeting with Mr.Songsak Saicheua, the Bureau Chief of the Office of Policy and Planning, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representative students from Sarasas Ektra School submitted a letter introducing the school's newly launched campaign to initiate activities and generate media interest which will help regain Thailand's good image in foreign eyes.

Scout Camp G.5Merit-making ceremony organized by :-
Wednesday 26th May 2010: Representative students from Sarasas Ektra School participated in the merit-making ceremony organized by Bangkok Metropolitan Administration at the Rama VI courtyard, Lumpini Park. The students offered food to one thousand monks, helped carry food containers for them, and raised a banner promoting Thailand as the land of peace, not cruelty and violence as being presented in the foreign media. This activity was warmly responded to by Thai and foreign people joining the ceremony.

Scout Camp G.5Haiti Donation :- Mr. Alistair Lawrence, Senior Assistant Director, and the school representatives sent the donation from students, parents and teachers to aid the Haitian earthquake victims. It was presented to H.E. Mr.Piyawat Niyomrerks, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 5th 2010.
