Can music and drama help my child’s bilingual development?       For a language to live within the child, there needs to be active participation in that language. That language needs to be valuable and useful to that child, enjoyable and pleasurable in a variety of events such as music and drama. In music and drama, language growth occurs almost unnoticed by the child in an enjoyable way. Children are not only learning language, enjoying the drama and having fun, they are also picking up part of the culture allied to that language.
