Ektra's Billingual Education System

The Bilingual Curriculum at Sarasas Ektra School is divided into Thai and English 50:50. The main subjects are Mathematics, English, Physical Education, Arts, Life Experience (Primary Level), Science and Social Studies (Matayom Level). The school has arranged the most efficient curriculum for the language development and preparation for higher education.

For Kindergarten 1: the ratio is 50 : 50

       The emphasis is on speaking and listening to English.

For Kindergarten 2 - 3 : the ratio is 85 : 15

        The emphasis is on speaking and listening to English.

For Primary 1 : the ratio is 70 : 30

For Primary 2 : the ratio is 60 : 40

For Primary 3 - 6 : the ratio is 50 : 50

       Students learn separate subjects. They learn more Thai language to prepare for future tests.

Matayom 1 and 4 : the ratio is 60 : 40

       The school will prepare students to learn English at a higher level i.e. university and to apply in their daily lives.

        The Matayom curriculum is rigorous, many students have to prepare themselves for higher education in Government Institutions and Universities. Both Thai and English are important.
        Students graduated from Matayom 6 at Sarasas Ektra School can continue their education in the government and private institutions locally and abroad. They are fluent in English, knowledgeable and socially mature based on Thai culture.
